Yves De Sistelle
Yves de Sistelle is a sub-label of Paris Bleu Parfums, the long-running Parisian distributor that builds inexpensive designer-style fragrances for international supermarket and duty-free distribution. The label borrows the visual codes of mid-tier French couture — embossed metal caps, faux-suede boxes, suggestive script logos — and applies them to compositions priced well below mainstream designer launches. The best-known release, Thallium pour Homme, has had a long run as a budget alternative to other aromatic woody masculines, and the line has steadily added flankers and feminine counterparts in similar territory. Perfumers are not publicly credited, which is standard for the segment. The brand operates almost entirely in physical retail rather than online, and is most visible in Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Latin America rather than its country of origin.
DNA over time
Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
