Zámecká Parfumerie
Handcrafted perfumes from a Prague castle stairway.
Zámecká Parfumerie is a Prague-based artisan fragrance house operating from a boutique on Zámecké schody — the castle steps of Malá Strana — one of the Czech capital's most atmospheric addresses. The house creates its Eau de Parfum and Eau de Cologne by hand in a traditional manufactory, following methods it traces back to 1926, and its catalogue of numbered and named compositions spans floral, fruity, woody, and abstract categories with titles such as Figue, Sněhová Královna, and Carcassonne. The experience of visiting is as deliberate as the fragrances themselves: customers are invited to work with the parfumeur to compose personal scents, turning the boutique into a workshop of bespoke creation. The offerings — which include more than fifty perfumes as catalogued on international fragrance databases — reflect a quietly individual Czech sensibility distinct from both French luxury mainstream and the louder register of Arabic oriental perfumery. Zámecká Parfumerie is a rare example of a Central European independent house with deep local roots and a genuine craft tradition, cherished by both Prague residents and fragrance-curious visitors to the city.

DNA over time
Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
