Zielinski & Rozen
A century of Old Jaffa perfumery, distilled by one living heir.
Zielinski and Rozen is an Israeli fragrance house whose roots reach back to 1905, when the founder's great-great-grandfather established a perfume atelier in the old town of Jaffa. Current perfumer and sole nose Erez Rozen discovered the connection as a young man when he found a notebook of Polish-language fragrance formulas in his family home — his mother's maiden name, Zielinski, woven into the archive. The house name honours both lineages: Zielinski for the century-old Polish heritage encoded in those handwritten formulas, Rozen for the perfumer who carries them forward. Erez translates his ancestral legacy into modern unisex compositions designed to evolve on the skin and connect personal memory to cultural narrative. The brand operates across Israel and internationally through its European webstore, maintaining a quietly artisanal presence in the global niche market. Each fragrance is conceived as a small story rooted in identity and continuity rather than trend.
DNA over time
Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
