By the editors · 2 min readPineapple opens juicy and slightly fermented, lavender adding an herbal counterweight while orange blossom and bergamot soften the edges. The first impression is lush and a bit retro, fruit and flowers from the same basket.
The heart is a heavy white-yellow floral mass, tuberose creamy and slightly buttery, jasmine indolic, ylang-ylang banana-rich, rose threading sweetness through. It is dense without being shouty, a heart in full bloom.
The base brings sandalwood, vanilla, civet, and opoponax for a warm animalic-balsamic finish, cinnamon adding a dry spicy edge. The overall character is a richly textured floral oriental in vintage proportions, sweet, smoky-warm, and unhurried.
