Active Bodies Adidas 1990 Eau de Toilette Concentrate
The 1990 Eau de Toilette Concentrate is the thicker reading of adidas's first signature — closer to a barbershop fougère than the sport-deodorant register the brand later adopted.

By the editors · 2 min readThe 1990 Eau de Toilette Concentrate is the thicker reading of adidas's first signature — closer to a barbershop fougère than the sport-deodorant register the brand later adopted. Lavender and lemon open clean and dry, but the heart pulls toward an old-school masculine: sandalwood, cedar, freesia, a powdery rose softening the woods.
Where the regular EDT thins out within an hour, the concentrate keeps a base of oakmoss, labdanum, styrax, tonka and musk going for several. There is something almost retro-leathery about the drydown, recognizably 1990s and unrepentant about it. Best in cool weather, where the moss and amber don't go cloying.
