By the editors · 2 min readTeam Five reads as a fougère stripped to its uniform: lemon and basil up top, a wash of mint, sage and lavender through the heart, and a quiet benzoin–amber base. There is almost no fruit, almost no sweetness — the whole thing is a green-aromatic exhale.
It sits flat on skin in the best sense, projecting only a foot or so before settling close. The peppermint and clary sage in the supporting cast keep the lavender from going dryer-sheet. After about an hour it warms into a soft amber that you can really only catch by leaning into your own shoulder. A weekday-bag fragrance, easy after the gym, easy at a desk.
