By the editors · 2 min readA white-floral top loaded heavy from the first spray — jasmine, ylang-ylang and rose stacked together with no citrus to lift them. The effect is dense, almost soapy-rich, in the way of generous oriental florals.
The heart doubles down: tonka bean's hay-sweetness wrapped around iris and a second pass of jasmine and rose. There is no thinning out, only deepening. Vanilla and heliotrope land in the base, soft musk holding the whole thing close to the skin.
It is unapologetically a powdered floral oriental — the opposite of a clean modern perfume. Best in cool weather, on someone who wants to be noticed without trying.
