By the editors · 2 min readThe opening is a bracing spice-and-citrus collision, grapefruit cutting against cardamom, cinnamon and nutmeg with clary sage adding a herbal-sage lift. It reads polished but busy in the first minutes.
The heart shifts towards a refined floral-wood centre, freesia and rose lending a quiet brightness while cedar gives the composition an angular dry-wood spine. The transition from spice to flower happens through warmth rather than abrupt steps.
Sandalwood, guaiac, patchouli and ambergris build the base into a smooth, slightly leathery amber-wood close. Overall the character is a sophisticated spicy-woody, dressed-up but not heavy, working comfortably across cooler months and office or evening wear.
