By the editors · 2 min readThe Remix takes the aromatic spice direction and complicates it with an unexpected element: lily of the valley threading through a heart otherwise occupied by nutmeg and cardamom. That floral note is unusual for a men's fragrance and gives the composition an edge that prevents it from reading as simply another herbal masculine.
Star anise and bergamot open with a licorice-tinged citrus, and the base of vetiver, cloves, licorice, and white musk closes with an almost culinary depth. The licorice thread running through top and base gives Remix a recognizable throughline rather than a simple linear development.
