The heart is a single-note insistence — Damask rose, dense and jammy — though the spices keep coloring it throughout, never letting it turn purely floral.
The base goes powdery-resinous: orris and vanilla soften guaiac wood and olibanum, sandalwood and amber rounding the bottom while patchouli and musk anchor it to skin. A dense, slow oriental rose, more occasion than office. Cool to cold weather, evening hours.
