By the editors · 2 min readSaffron, orange, and bergamot open together — the saffron adding a metallic, slightly honeyed warmth against the clean citrus of bergamot and the soft sweetness of orange. The opening has an interesting tension between the linear citrus brightness and the more exotic saffron.
Leather arrives in the base with quiet authority, giving the drydown a dry, slightly animalic edge. Amber softens and deepens, while vanilla smooths the whole structure into a warm, skin-close finish.
The result is a compact oriental with good bones — the saffron-leather pairing is the most interesting element, and the amber-vanilla base provides reliable warmth. Well-suited to cooler seasons and evening wear.
