By the editors · 2 min readSweet fruit hits first — pineapple and pear with a caramel drizzle — but pepper and lemon sharpen the opening so it stays a fragrance rather than a candy. The peppery citrus does most of the work for the first ten minutes.
The heart is a thin floral pass through jasmine, lily of the valley and a faintly licorice-tinged anise, and it reads more like a transition than a destination. The base is where the perfume settles: ambroxan and amber thrown wide, with leather, vanilla and patchouli giving the projection some grain. Cedar and white musk smooth the dry-down.
Projection is loud, longevity strong. A cold-weather evening fragrance built for room-filling rather than nuance.
