By the editors · 2 min readHabit Rouge Sport is the 2009 fitness-counter flanker of Guerlain's 1965 classic — Habit Rouge's leather-and-vanilla DNA stripped down and lit up with citrus and bamboo. The top is bitter orange, lime, and pink pepper, sharper and greener than the parent ever wanted to be.
Bamboo in the heart is the line's distinguishing move; jasmine, rose, and patchouli sit underneath but stay quiet. The base is where the family resemblance returns — leather, vanilla, woody notes, and musk in a thinner, faster-fading version of the original drydown. The famous powdery makeup-aldehyde top is gone entirely.
Discontinued after a short market run. Four to six hours, light-to-moderate projection, warm-weather casual wear. Best treated as its own thing rather than a substitute for the parent.
