By the editors · 2 min readThree citrus voices stacked at the top — orange, lemon, grapefruit — with pink pepper added almost for the fizz of it. The opener reads bright, dry, slightly bitter rather than sweet.
The heart is thin on paper, just the pepper carrying through, but the base catches and carries: vetiver greens the woods, benzoin warms them with a soft balsamic sweetness, cedar and patchouli give the woody-earthy spine. The result is more of a structured citrus-woody than a fully developed pyramid.
A daytime-leaning warm-weather composition — short bright opener, woody-balsamic dry-down close to the skin within a couple of hours. Office-safe, easy, designed for high-rotation casual use.
