By the editors · 2 min readA lush red-fruit opening — strawberry and cherry slicked with black-currant tartness — leans candied right out of the bottle. It reads young and obvious, and it sets the mood for the whole wear.
The heart pulls in a single rose for shape, but the fruit doesn't recede. Cherry stays loud and slightly almond-tinged from the start, while a peripheral musk softens the edges. Vanilla begins to creep up by the half-hour mark.
The base is sweet, not subtle: vanilla, amber and musk smear the fruit into a gourmand cloud closer to confection than perfume. It throws moderately and lasts well into the evening. A warm-weather, casual fragrance for someone who wants the fruit-and-vanilla register without complication, and is fine being read that way.
