By the editors · 2 min readWithout a declared top, the perfume opens directly into orris, magnolia, and frankincense — a cool, slightly austere combination from the first impression. Orris brings powdery silver-grey iris, magnolia adds lemony floral lift, frankincense threads smoky resin through.
This center holds steady, neither bright nor sweet. The interplay between powdery iris and incense smoke gives the perfume its meditative core, with magnolia preventing the composition from feeling too somber.
Sandalwood, oud, ambergris, vetiver, and galbanum anchor the base. Oud's smoky-leathery depth marries ambergris's salty warmth, while vetiver and galbanum add green-earthy structure. Overall it reads as a refined incense-iris-oud composition suited to cold formal evenings.
