Azman
Ultra-rare Emirati oud excellence.
Azman was founded in the UAE in 2021 by Husen Baba, a collector and connoisseur whose approach to starting a perfume house was defined by a simple principle: source only the rarest materials and accept no compromises on concentration or ingredient quality. The house works with Assamese, Cambodian, and Hindi ouds of exceptional provenance alongside ambergris, orris, and other costly naturals, producing extraits and oil-based concentrates at ultra-niche price points that reflect the actual cost of the materials. Azman distributes through a tiny network of specialty retailers in the Gulf and a curated waiting list, reinforcing scarcity as a feature rather than a limitation. For the serious oud collector the house represents one of the most credible recent entries from the Emirates, offering genuine material differentiation rather than branding-led positioning.
DNA over time
Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
