By the editors · 2 min readChrome Parfum is the line's attempt to push the original's freshness into something denser without abandoning the brief. Bergamot opens, but with more body than the EDT — a richer, almost candied citrus that leans toward orange-peel. The first ten minutes feel like Chrome with the volume raised one notch.
Sage at the heart is the structural move: it adds a dry, savory herbaceousness that the original lacked, pulling the composition slightly toward fougère territory. Fir resin in the base does the heavy lifting — coniferous, balsamic, a touch sticky — and gives the drydown a winter-forest quality the rest of the Chrome line doesn't have. Modest sillage, decent longevity for a parfum. A cooler-weather Chrome, for people who liked the originals but wanted more wood than water.
