By the editors · 2 min readBlack Amethyst opens with a dewy sweetness—melon and citrus that feel less sharp than softly luminous, like sunlight through gauze. This introduction quickly gives way to its real character: a dense white floral bouquet anchored by tuberose and gardenia, given breadth by lily of the valley and freesia. The effect is lush without being photorealistic, more the idea of night-blooming flowers than their exact replica.

What makes it distinctive is the base. Sandalwood and vanilla wrap around the florals with a creamy warmth, while vetiver and patchouli add just enough shadow to keep it from drifting into pure sweetness. The musk threads through quietly, giving the whole composition a skin-close finish.

This is approachable white floral territory—rich enough to feel indulgent, familiar enough to wear easily. It suits someone who wants presence without intimidation, warmth without heaviness.
