By the editors · 2 min readA blackberry-and-incense opener that sets the tone immediately — dark fruit smudged with smoky resin and lifted off the skin by a thin slice of bergamot. It signals evening from the first spray.
The heart leans into rose and peony with amber underneath, giving the fruit a velvet texture rather than a juicy one. Vetiver, labdanum and musk in the base pull the whole thing toward a dim, slightly powdered drydown — the smoke from the top thinning into something warmer and skin-near. It performs modestly for an EDP at this price point, but the character is genuinely autumnal and a touch gothic.
