By the editors · 2 min readA quiet white floral with a little mischief tucked in. Pear, jasmine and freesia open it with a watery sweetness that reads recognizably southern in summer — magnolia-coded before the magnolia even arrives.
The heart lifts onto magnolia proper with tonka and vanilla pulling it sweet, and a thread of smoke that gives the petals a slightly bruised, evening edge — the most interesting move in the composition. Musk in the base ties everything to skin without adding much character of its own. Linear after the first half hour, low-projection, but the smoke keeps it from being purely pretty.
