By the editors · 2 min readA 2010 BBW departure from their usual accessible simplicity. Orange Sapphire stacks the full citrus cabinet in its opening — bergamot, grapefruit, mandarin, blood orange, tarocco — alongside raspberry, peach, and a fascinating davana note that turns the whole opening faintly anise-bittersweet. The heart opens into a lush white-floral accord: jasmine, muguet, magnolia, freesia, and orange blossom in a complex, overlapping bloom. The base turns quietly opulent with vetiver, patchouli, honey, and a cognac note that adds warmth without heaviness. An ambitious and now-discontinued fragrance worth hunting if you encounter it.
