By the editors · 2 min readBijan for Men opens with a brisk aromatic slap—oakmoss and lavender tempered by herbal sage and a glint of citrus. There's a old-school masculinity here, unapologetic and thick, almost like stepping into a barbershop lined with leather chairs and dark wood. Nutmeg adds a dry warmth that keeps the top from feeling too clean.

The heart grows denser. Sandalwood and honey soften what could be a sharp aromatic structure, while cinnamon and tarragon introduce an unusual spiced-herbal character. Florals—jasmine, ylang-ylang, rose—bloom quietly underneath, never dominating but adding roundness and complexity. This is where the fragrance reveals its ambition: layered, almost baroque.

The base settles into leathery warmth, bolstered by vetiver, patchouli, and tonka. It's rich without being sweet, balancing resinous benzoin and vanilla against woody cedar and musk. A quintessential eighties powerhouse, confident and full-bodied, suited to someone who doesn't mind leaving an impression.
