The absence of heart notes means the transition is abrupt: within minutes the rind oils evaporate and the base rises, leather stripping the fruit of sweetness and replacing it with a matte, black-jacket texture. Amber then warms the leather from beneath, adding a low, honeyed glow that keeps the composition from turning brittle.
