By the editors · 2 min readAlmond opens raw and slightly oily, with bergamot adding a thin citrus rind on top. There is no marzipan sweetness; the almond reads more like blanched nut than dessert.
A single peony note warms the heart, soft and barely-there, allowing the almond to remain the centre of attention. The transition is quick, with the floral acting more as cushion than focus.
The base settles into a creamy sandalwood with cedar's drier woody bite and a clean musk. The overall character is a quiet nutty-woody, almond resting on pale wood with a hint of soft floral powder, intimate in projection and distinctly close to the skin from the outset.
