By the editors · 2 min readRum opens hot and boozy, its molasses thickness carrying a cinnamon spark that bites the tongue. Caramel lands immediately after, folding the spice into a sticky burnt-sugar blanket that mutes the alcohol’s edge while keeping its warmth. Tonka bean in the base stretches the caramel into a soft, tobacco-like vanillic resin that clings to skin for hours, never quite leaving the cocktail-glass aura behind. The scent stays linear: what changes is texture, beginning syrupy and settling into a powdered almond-skin feel. Projection radiates a one-foot cloud for the first three hours, then hugs close through the sweet, faintly nutty dry-down. Wear it at night, in cool weather, when you want to smell like last call at the dessert bar.
