By the editors · 2 min readA hazelnut-almond opening that skirts gourmand territory without tipping into sweetness—there's bergamot citrus beneath, keeping things taut. The effect is less pastry counter than the dry, skin-close warmth of roasted nuts wrapped in morning light.

As it settles, violet and rose emerge with restraint, neither powdery nor jammy. The florals feel almost translucent, like tissue paper laid over wood. Sandalwood and vetiver form the base, with patchouli adding weight without going earthy or head-shop heavy.

Black Swan reads as an exercise in balance: nutty but not edible, floral but not decorative, woody but not austere. It wears close, with a quiet elegance that suits someone who prefers suggestion to statement. More cocktail dress than costume, more whisper than declaration.
