By the editors · 2 min readPomegranate and bergamot open with a sharp, slightly tart brightness, rose appearing alongside from the very first moment. The heart deepens into a dense floral-fruity accord: Damask rose and jasmine forming the floral core, peach and peony adding softness and a fruitier, lighter register. Olibanum in the base is an unusual addition — slightly smoky and resinous, giving the base a depth that most floral orientals don't bother with. Sandalwood and vanilla warm the whole thing, musk extending the sillage. Rose Goldea punches above its commercial ambitions — the olibanum-rose combination adds a character most luxury department-store florals lack.
