By the editors · 2 min readOriginally launched as Fantastic Man — a collaboration with the Dutch men's magazine — and later re-released as Sunday Cologne, this is Byredo's stab at the well-tailored gentleman. Star anise, bergamot and cardamom open it sharp and aromatic, almost biting; the citrus is dry, not juicy.
The heart layers lavender, geranium and incense — the incense not churchy but smoky, a discreet plume — before vetiver, oakmoss and patchouli ground everything in a dry, slightly mossy base. It feels groomed: a Sunday eau de cologne for someone who irons their shirts. Confident, daylight-leaning, unmistakably masculine without leaning rugged.
