Saffron and osmanthus give the heart an apricot-leather warmth, surprising in a summer flanker. They lift the structure away from generic men's-counter aquatics and toward a softer, almost dusty character.
Olibanum and labdanum at the base anchor the dryness: smoky resin sitting low under the sweetness. The whole thing is more office-appropriate than beachside, and it lasts longer than the typical summer flanker — you'll still smell it after dinner.
