By the editors · 2 min readPink pepper and bergamot open with a familiar spiced-citrus combination — the pepper's fizzy, slightly fermented quality alongside bergamot's clean aromatic brightness. Jasmine, freesia, and violet form the heart: jasmine warm and indolic, freesia light and slightly grassy, violet adding powdery softness. Tonka, sandalwood, amber, and vanilla in the base give a warm, slightly sweet dry-down that resolves the spiced opening into something comfortable. Délices is Cartier in a commercial mode — expertly assembled, pleasant without being bland, built to be worn without thought. A well-made floral oriental for everyday use.
