By the editors · 2 min readBlack currant and bergamot open with a tart, slightly green fruity sparkle that feels more crisp than sweet. Freesia enters quickly, softening the edges with a clean, watery floral lift that keeps the fruit from turning jammy. The heart phase is brief; within twenty minutes the base trio of sandalwood, amber and patchouli lock together, producing a dry, woody-musk hum warmed by a light amber glow. Patchouli adds a quiet earthiness that prevents the sandalwood from becoming creamy, while white musk shears off any residual sweetness, leaving a skin-close woody dust. Projection stays polite—an arm-length radius for the first two hours—then collapses to a faint wood-powder skin scent that lingers through a workday. Office-safe in spring and early fall; the restrained sillage makes it ideal for cubicles or travel.
