The scent fingerprint
Weighted by intensity across 11 accords.
Every perfume in Sillage is represented as a distribution across canonical accord slugs — a lingua franca for scent. Two fragrances with overlapping fingerprints are scent-twins, even if they share no literal note.

By the editors · 2 min readSycomore is built around a smokily woody vetiver accord that places it among the great modern vetiver fragrances. Bergamot and neroli provide an opening of citrus-floral brightness; pink pepper and clary sage add a light spice and herbal-aromatic edge that gives the vetiver room to assert itself. The vetiver here is the dominant character — smoky, earthy, with a slightly chalky dryness — sandalwood softening its edges and vanilla providing the slightest warmth in the base. Sycomore is unisex in the truest sense: neither masculine nor feminine, simply elegant and precise. One of the great Chanel Les Exclusifs.
