By the editors · 2 min readMirabelle and pear open with a soft, golden-fruit accord — the mirabelle plum contributing warm-jam sweetness alongside pear's more familiar crispness. Egyptian jasmine arrives quickly and cleanly — luminous rather than heady, as responsibly-sourced jasmine from Egypt tends to be. Dates add a honeyed, dried-fruit warmth that gives the composition its intense character, deepening the jasmine heart without tipping into gourmand sweetness. The base is anchored and serious: oakmoss and patchouli provide earth and longevity, sandalwood gives creamy warmth, vanilla a quiet sweetness beneath. Caroline Dumur built this around a single great material and let it do the work. A natural-origin intensification that earns its name.
