By the editors · 2 min readA fruity-floral oriental in the late-90s manner. It opens on stewed plum and peach, with black currant adding a tart edge and freesia keeping the fruit airborne. Bergamot rounds the citrus rather than slicing it.
The heart is a soft white-and-rose bouquet — jasmine and lily-of-the-valley over a rose that stays gentle — with peach folded back in to keep continuity with the top. The base is the surprise: praline and vanilla turn the dry-down faintly gourmand, while sandalwood, cedar, and amber give it backbone. The whole arc reads warm, plush, and a little nostalgic.
