By the editors · 2 min readCardamom crackles against pink pepper in the opening, releasing a bright, almost fizzy spice that quickly folds into iris's cool, chalky powder. The heart introduces leather that feels suede-soft rather than rawhide-tough, stitched to cedar planks whose dry wood keeps the orris from turning cosmetic. Vetiver and patchouli arrive early in the base, green and earthy, while papyrus adds a crisp paper edge that stops the composition from sagging into sweetness. On skin the iris-leather accord stays center stage for hours, gradually shedding its citric sparkle to become a muted, suede-over-wood skin scent that projects arm's-length for most of the workday. Cool fall days and smart-casual offices are its natural habitat; the restrained projection rewards close encounters without filling a room.
