By the editors · 2 min readLavender opens with a dry, herbal clarity, leaning medicinal rather than floral. Clary sage and nutmeg pull it toward an aromatic spice territory — this is a composed masculine structure, deliberately traditional in its skeleton.
The base is where it earns its character: oakmoss, vetiver, and leather form a thick, slightly animalic foundation, grounded further by patchouli and amber. Sandalwood adds some warmth without sweetening the composition. The overall impression is earthy and mossy with a firm aromatic spine — cool-weather skin close to the wearer, projecting modestly. It reads as vintage in character, appropriate for formal or evening wear in cold conditions.
