By the editors · 2 min readViking opens with a bracing mint-and-citrus blast that feels like cold air off a Nordic fjord. The peppermint is icy and pronounced, sharpened by pink pepper and bergamot, creating an aromatic jolt that gradually warms as lavender and rose emerge beneath the chill. This isn't delicate florals—the heart stays masculine and resinous, with clove adding spiced heat.
As it settles, the base reveals soft cedar and vetiver grounded by tonka's sweetness, while white musk keeps everything clean rather than heavy. The mint lingers faintly through the drydown, maintaining freshness even as the woods take over.
This is Creed's attempt at rugged masculinity with polish—less about actual Vikings than about the idea of them filtered through luxury fragrance. It wears bold and projects confidently, suited to someone who wants their presence announced without shouting. Cool-weather scent, more boardroom than longship.
