By the editors · 2 min readIncognito opens with a citrus accord — bergamot, lemon, and orange — that carries a faint herbal edge from basil. The brightness is brief, transitioning quickly into a dense floral heart where jasmine and ylang-ylang dominate, supported by rose and lily of the valley. Honey threads through the middle, giving the florals a slightly waxy, animalic richness.
The base is deep and resinous: frankincense, benzoin, and styrax build a smoky-balsamic foundation, with sandalwood, patchouli, and vanilla rounding things out. Civet adds a low animalic note that keeps it grounded.
The overall character is a dense, warm oriental — layered and heavy, best suited to cool weather and evening wear.
