By the editors · 2 min readThe opening is a single bright stroke of mandarin, juicy but not sugary. Then mastic — the resinous herbal note — comes up alongside pistachio and jasmine, and the fragrance turns greener and a little woody-creamy at the same time.
The heart holds longer than the top. Pistachio gives the jasmine a milky, slightly nutty edge; mastic keeps the floral from softening into anything generic. There's a quietly Mediterranean character to this section — herbs and white flowers, salt-adjacent without being marine.
The drydown is woody-amber with patchouli, low-key and warm. Best in transitional weather and casual settings. More interesting than the Cool Water lineage suggests.
