By the editors · 2 min readLavender and neroli open with a crisp, sunlit blast that quickly picks up pink pepper’s peppery snap, creating a cool aromatic haze. A fat damask rose swells underneath, sweetened by orange blossom, while lime and lemon keep the top bright enough to stop the flower from sagging. Tuberose muscles in early, its buttery petals dusted with star-anise licorice and warmed by cardamom, so the heart feels both creamy and softly spiced; jasmine and ylang add indolic radiance that lifts the rose rather than hiding it. Patchouli splits its duties: in the heart it gives the florals a camphoraceous edge, then in the base it joins myrrh and olibanum to carve dry, resinous shadows through creamy tonka and velvety sandalwood. Vanilla smooths the seams, letting the woody-balsamic dry settle into a low, resinous purr that still exhales ghost-flowers hours later.
