Grapefruit and basil open briefly before ginger and cardamom take over — the spice work here is warmer than sharp, almost candied.
The drydown lands in a tobacco-amber-cedar territory that most men already own in one form or another. Not groundbreaking, but well-made and extremely crowd-pleasing. Longevity is good, projection moderate-to-strong in the first two hours then intimate. Best in cooler weather — hot days blow the sweetness out and the sillage with it. A reliable date-night default, or for the guy who wants one fragrance for everything.
