By the editors · 2 min readFrankincense and bergamot announce a church-door chill, resinous smoke curling around citrus oil that flashes then retreats within minutes. A heart of Laotian oud, patchouli and rose lands darkly humid, the wood’s medicinal camphor lifting the petals while patchouli’s cocoa-earth anchors them to skin. Base layers double the oud, now softer, and fold it into ambergris, myrrh, labdanum and vanilla; salt-crusted ambergris tames the sweet resinous trio, turning the accord into a glowing, leather-tinted ember that pulses close for hours. Projection stays at arm’s length, ideal for cool evenings or travel when you want presence without announcement.
