By the editors · 2 min readFrankincense and saffron announce themselves immediately — resinous and metallic, with a dry smokiness that sets a serious tone from the first spray. The opening is dense and deliberate.
Leather and styrax in the heart deepen the incense quality, adding a rubbery, slightly sweet darkness. The styrax fuses with leather into something reminiscent of worn suede near an open fire, with benzoin beginning to soften the edges toward the base.
Tonka bean, vetiver, and patchouli in the base add earthiness and a quiet sweetness beneath the smoke and resin. The finish is long, dry, and woody-balsamic. A cold-weather fragrance built for evening wear.
