By the editors · 2 min readYuzu, grapefruit, and bergamot open with a layered citrus brightness — yuzu slightly mandarin-floral, grapefruit tart and sulfurous-fresh, bergamot tying the two together. The first minutes are luminous and tilted east-Asian in feel.
Bamboo carries the heart almost on its own, a green, watery, slightly woody facet that pulls the citrus into a more meditative, vegetal register. The middle phase reads as a quiet bridge rather than an event, sustaining the freshness from the top into the base.
Patchouli and musk close things out, the patchouli modern-clean rather than earthy-dirty, the musk skin-warm and laundered. The drydown stays sheer and translucent. A daytime, warm-weather citrus-green for casual or office wear, undemanding and pleasant. Sparse heart limits longevity confidence.
