By the editors · 2 min readLavender and nutmeg open with an aromatic-spicy intensity that feels both herbal and slightly warm on initial spray. Rosewood adds a smooth woody undertone that supports the top notes without dominating them. Civet and jasmine introduce a animalic floral heart that feels rich and slightly indolic, adding depth and complexity. Castoreum contributes a leathery animalic accent that blends with tobacco's dry smokiness in the base. Ambergris and vanilla provide a resinous sweet foundation that softens the animalic edges in the dry-down. The composition evolves significantly over four hours, moving from spicy-aromatic to animalic-resinous. Sillage is strong initially but contracts to moderate after two hours, with longevity extending beyond twelve hours. Best for cool weather evening wear or special occasions where its bold character can stand out.
