By the editors · 2 min readThe 2017 Eau Fraiche is the richest of the annual series. Orange, lemon, and bergamot open with familiar brightness, and the heart — lavender, magnolia, jasmine, orange blossom — replicates the 2014 formula precisely. But the base is different.
Sandalwood, coconut, vetiver, myrrh, amber, and vanilla together produce a creamier, rounder finish than any earlier iteration. The coconut doesn't read tropical; it blends into the woody accord as texture, softening the vetiver and giving myrrh a honeyed edge.
The result is still a skinscent, still sheer, but with more presence on the exhale and better staying power. A summer fragrance that earns an evening outing without overstating itself.
