By the editors · 2 min readIncense and myrrh open thick and resinous, immediately throwing a dry, church-censer smoke that clings to saffron’s leathery sparkle. Amber and vanilla rush in underneath, liquefying the resins into a warm, caramelized glaze while patchouli adds a bittersweet earthiness that keeps the accord from turning syrupy. Jasmine and lily of the valley arrive late, their clean white petals briefly lifting the haze before ylang-ylang folds them back into a creamy, banana-toned dusk. The finish is dominated by a charred-wood smoke note that rasps against the remaining ambered vanilla, creating a singed-toffee effect that lingers for hours. Projection carries a one-meter trail; best for cool nights, leather jackets, or candle-lit venues where the air can absorb its tarry sweetness.
