By the editors · 2 min readMint snaps open cool and green against bergamot's metallic citrus, creating an aromatic chill that reads almost ozonic. Gardenia and jasmine arrive early, their creamy white-floral weight softening the chill while black pepper adds a prickly heat that keeps the heart from turning lush. The florals thin quickly, letting cedar's dry pencil-shaving wood take over, musk adding clean skin proximity and amber only a faint resinous glow. On skin the mint lingers longest, now warmed by pepper dust and wood, projecting a bright aromatic haze for about five hours before collapsing to a cedar-musk whisper. Office-friendly year-round, strongest in spring air conditioning.
