By the editors · 2 min readSaffron and cardamom arrive immediately, dry and slightly metallic, lifted by bergamot. There is a sharpness here that settles quickly as the heart opens into cedar and vetiver—earthy, fibrous, and grounded. Jasmine and rose add a restrained floral register without softening the composition's angular quality.
The base is where the fragrance commits fully to its character. Labdanum and olibanum build a resinous, smoke-edged amber that reads as incense-adjacent without literal smoke. Patchouli and vanilla layer underneath, warm and slightly sweet, anchoring the whole structure.
The result is a dense, spiced oriental that leans dark and resinous. It wears close to the skin but carries sustained presence through the dry-down.
